Biography

Tammy Loos worked with Alternative HR from 2019 through 2022, and then rejoined the firm in 2024 as a part-time HR Consultant. Tammy also serves as a full-time instructor at the University of South Dakota, teaching entrepreneurship, management, and marketing classes. Tammy has over 20 years of experience in human resources management. While she has experience working with clients in various industries, Tammy offers a high level of expertise within the financial services industry and non-profit sector.

Tammy has great skills at assessing workplace culture, and recognizing ways that organizations can significantly improve their communications, leadership and effectiveness.

Tammy is a past president of the Sioux Empire SHRM (SESHRM) Board of Directors, and a past President of the SD State SHRM Council. She also actively volunteers for Junior Achievement.
