Melissa Tordoff joined the Alternative HR team in 2022. She has served as a Nursing Home Administrator with The Evangelical Good Samaritan Society for the past 20 years. In that position, she has had responsibility for human resources, finances, facilities, and patient care, as well as assuring compliance of all federal and state regulations applicable to nursing homes.
Melissa has developed expertise in recruiting, retention, performance management, conflict resolution, coaching and mentoring. She considers her greatest HR-related strengths to be her ability to lead with integrity, honesty and transparency. Melissa prides herself on her ability to develop strong and meaningful relationships with patients/residents and employees, and to create a productive, enjoyable and motivating work environment.
With Alternative HR, Melissa will be working with small and medium sized businesses, helping them with both strategic and tactical human resource issues.
