Kayla Johnson joined Alternative HR in 2016 after managing HR functions with an area public school system, and prior to that, in the private sector. Kayla has great instincts for people and business, and can easily flow from counseling clients’ staff members on benefit issues to coaching supervisors on performance best practices to meeting with executives and developing effective HR practices that impact the bottom line. Kayla delivers outstanding expertise to clients in all industries.
Throughout her career, Kayla has primarily worked with clients in the manufacturing, hospitality, and non-profit industries, and has developed expertise in dealing with Affordable Care Act (ACA) challenges and requirements. Kayla is a strong advocate of employee development, and provides supervision and leadership training to Alternative HR clients.
Kayla is a member of the Sioux Empire Society for Human Resource Management (SESHRM), and has served on its Board of Directors.
