Melissa Tordoff  joined the Alternative HR team in 2022.  She previously served as a Nursing Home Administrator with The Evangelical Good Samaritan Society for the past 20 years, where she had responsibility for human resources, finances, facilities, and patient care, as well as assuring compliance of all federal and state regulations applicable to nursing homes.

Melissa has expertise in recruiting, retention, performance management, conflict resolution, coaching and mentoring. She considers her greatest HR-related strengths to be her ability to lead with integrity, honesty and transparency. Melissa prides herself on her ability to develop strong and meaningful relationships with patients/residents and employees, and to create a productive, enjoyable and motivating work environment.

With Alternative HR, Melissa works with small and medium sized businesses, helping them with both strategic and tactical human resource issues.
