In addition, Melissa has strong social media recruiting experience, and has worked with numerous clients in their talent acquisition efforts.
Melissa has great experience creating HR departments in start-ups, and in transforming HR functions within existing businesses. She is a talented and engaging presenter, and has trained on topics such as social media recruiting & marketing, talent acquisition, Respect at Work (anti-harassment/anti-discrimination), team building, and conflict resolution/mediation. Melissa is passionate about building positive relationships and engaging others in healthy conflict in the workplace!
Melissa served on the leadership team with Alternative HR, is currently an Advisory Board Member for BRIDGES at Active Generations and serves on the Board of Trustees at Dow Rummel in Sioux Falls. Melissa has also served on the board of directors for Sioux Empire SHRM (SESHRM).
